Tal Gurer Payesh (Creamy Milk and Rice with Palm Jaggery)
(5 Litre pressure cooker)

Pressure Cooking Time 12 minutes
6 cups
milk
6 tbsp
Basmati rice
175 g
patali jaggery
crushed
1/3 cup
raisins
Method
1
Bring milk to boil in cooker. Add rice. Stir.

Close cooker. Bring to full pressure on medium heat. Reduce heat and cook for 12 minutes.

Remove cooker from heat. Allow to cool naturally.

Open cooker.

Place cooker on high heat. Add jaggery and raisins. Stir till jaggery is dissolved. Serve hot.
